“The Prince Of Wolves” (By: Quinn Loftis) Book Review

Hey,

Sorry I have not posted in a while but I have decided once a week (Every Saturday) I will do a book review. Lately have been going to the Library more often and have been looking for more books to read, and I have found lots of great books and authors. Today I am going to review “The Prince Of Wolves”, This novel is about a 17 year old girl (Jacque) her two besties (Sassy Jen, and sweet Sally), and 18 year old exchange student (Fane). Jacque starts hearing a voice in her head, that talks to her, she tells Jen and Sally feeling like she might be going crazy when she finds out it is Fane, he somehow has been talking to her though his thoughts. Jacque starts falling for Fane and does not understand the secret he keeps from her. Until he decides to tell her, she is half werewolf (her dad was a werewolf) and he is the romanian pack prince, and he is her mate. Little does she know this is the least of her worries as a another werewolf fights to be Jacques mate. Jacque is in for one bumpy ride in this funny romance fantasy novel.

I really enjoyed this novel, I am actually almost finished with the 6th in this series (“The Grey Wolves Series”) I think that this is a really fun novel, it always keeps you at the edge of your seat and even makes you sometimes burst into laughs or tears for the amazingly well written characters. Quinn Loftis has written a amazing series and it is one of my new favorites. Yesterday her new novel “Fate and Fury” came out and I am L-O-V-I-N-G it!

I would defiantly advise you to read this book if you like werewolf, fantasy, edge of your seat, burst into laughter, romance, comedy you will SO love this novel. This novel is YA so there are a few things in it, but it is a awesome series!

NaNoWriMo UPDATE:-) (happy Thanksgiving to everybody:-)

Hey,

 Happy Thanksgiving to everybody!!!!!!!

Now lets get serious… Only 5 days left in NaNoWriMo, can we all do this? YES we can.

 

But because of Thanksgiving and everything I was 3,000 words behind but I have almost caught up all the way I have (drum role please:-) 40,040 yes only 9,960, yes!!!!!!!! I CAN DO THIS:-)! I know it seems impossible but lets write until my drop, yes we can do this even if it takes a few nights of staying up until the sun rises, but we will not give up, come on lets go write a novel in a month:-)!!!!!

Guess what time of year it is? Yes thats right NANOWRIMO:)

 

If you don’t now what NaNoWriMo is it stand so for (Na) national (No) novel (Wri) writing (Mo) month, In November people try and write a 50,000 novel in one month…. 

 

NaNoWriMo:)

 

Last Year I did NaNoWriMo, And I won, i did 28,000 words in a month:) this year I am doing 40,000 words…. Now tomorrow (when NaNoWriMo starts) I am going to a beach house With my mom and her friend and my friend (her daughter:) for 5 days to get NaNoWriMo started. I think everybody should do NaNoWriMo it is a great experience for anybody, and if you don’t want to thats ok but don’t say you don’t have time, what about that time in the end of the day when your sitting watching shows, or the hours you spend checking Facebook and texting….. That time could be spent writing, you can check Facebook next month, your can text later, and watching shows they will be on Netflix later:)… Come on do it, even if you do the young version and hit 10,000 words you still did it you wrote a novel in a month, come on and write with me:)

Last post I said there would be a book Bio here it is:

Bess is a sweet 19 year old Amish girl that knows nothing of the outside world, all she knows is what she was taught, that she must dress this way and act that way and that if one mistake should happen there would be no hope for her.

She is the oldest child and still a child herself.

Her mother is ready for her to be married, she tries to arrange her daughter with some of the young Amish men there.

Jason is a man that found God in his own way, he believes God is merciful and kind, he knows that Gods first miracle was turning water to wine. He is a widower and father to three kids

He tries looking for a mother and wife for him and his children. He has to move from his home town to a small country town, a Amish town.

Jason and Bess bump into each other and both their  lives were changed forever.

She felt love for the first time.

He wanted another love, but he was not ready for it.

Today I am going to post a poem I wrote and what they mean:

This Poem  is about being yourself and how if your not then you’ll never truly be brave cause being yourself is one of the most scariest things to do (and I know:) like not caring what people think and dancing in front of everybody, maybe at a restaurant or even at home, or singing in front of people or even just in front of the mirror but let you be yourself cause there is not a single person in the whole world who is just like you, so if your like someone else then nobody can ever see what your capable of so take a chance see what your made of:

My Poem:

People can tell You their ways right,

Can say what Your doings wrong,

That they know what You should do,

But if You always followed the crowd,

If You never took a chance to see what Your made of,

To see what You want,

What You need,

If You never strayed if only to see that they were right,

Then You cant say Your truly brave,

You may have climbed a mountain,

Or fought a bear,

But truly if are not Yourself,

If you don’t take a step in your own shoes,

Then you are never truly Brave,

Art Journaling, Journaling.

There are many different kinds of journaling.

Journaling in a diary ..where you write your feelings down and what happened in the day.  You write inside it.  And then there is art journaling… where you express your feelings with pictures and drawings that you smash together, creating an art journal.  Art journaling and journaling are pretty much the same just in one way you express your feelings with words in in the other way you express them though art.

I love art journaling and you can see my sisters drawings at: http://www.sketchinginwonderland.blogspot.com.  I love both to Art Journal and Journal because i both love to do art and write.  If you just normal Journal don’t be worried what people might say because nobody (unless you let them) will see other then you, so rant and rave, but when your done don’t read it because you don’t want to get all scared, mad, or sad about what you just wrote again so calm down and read it at least 2 months after you wrote it:).

In art journaling you can let people see it without them knowing your feelings because you have art and not words ( maybe a few) but art which people do not know your secret way of art, your artsy thoughts.  I hope this helped you decide what is your thing, Art journaling or journaling.  You can do both, i do i rant and rave in my journal ( then hide it under lock and key) and then a put my secret feelings in art were nobody can truly know how I feel.
